Bharath Engineering Works

Our shop, Bharath Engineering Works, is located at 297 on 4th Giri Amman Kovil Street. We are right opposite the railway station in Peelamedu, which makes it easy for people to find us even if they are not from this exact part of town. The trains going by are a constant sound in the background while we work. We have set up our workshop to handle a variety of engineering jobs that the local industries and small shops need. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the machinery and materials, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent working on different metal components and fixing things up. We are not much for fancy decorations; the walls are mostly covered in tools and old calendars. It is a place where work gets done, plain and simple. We have had the same regular people coming in for years, and we appreciate that they trust us with their projects. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at the list of what needs to be finished by the evening. We do not have a big sales team or anything like that. It is just us in the shop making sure the dimensions are right on the pieces we make. Sometimes the weather makes the shop a bit uncomfortable, but we just push through it and get the tasks done. It is a steady life and we are glad to be part of the Peelamedu community.
