Benso Garmenting

We operate Benso Garmenting out of S.F No. 321 and 322/1. It’s in the Sri Muthusamy Gounder Industrial area, right near Nochipalayam in Pariyur Amman Nagar. It’s a good spot for us because there’s plenty of room to move things around. The building isn't anything to brag about, but it keeps the rain out and the machines dry. We have been working in this part of town for a good while. Most of the people here live nearby, so it’s a short walk or ride to work. We handle the whole process of making clothes, from cutting to final packing. It’s a lot of manual work and we don't use many fancy gadgets. We rely more on the skill of the folks at the machines. Pariyur Amman Nagar is a quiet enough area until the shift starts. Then it’s all humming and clicking from the sewing room. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just focus on the orders we have. Sometimes we take on small jobs, sometimes bigger ones. It depends on what’s needed that month. The floor is usually covered in scrap fabric by noon, but we clean it up every evening. Just a regular bunch of people trying to earn a living making clothes that fit well and stay together. We like what we do and we like staying busy.
