We are tucked away in Vellanapatty Village, specifically at No.7/167 in Andakkapalayam. It's a bit of a quiet spot compared to the city, which is actually quite nice for an engineering place. We’ve been running Bakgiyam Engineering from here for quite a while now. The workshop is usually full of metal scraps and tools everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but that’s because we’re actually working. We do a lot of custom engineering jobs, so there’s always something different on the bench. Sometimes a client comes in with a weird request and we have to spend hours scratching our heads to figure out how to make it work. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anything like that. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the senior guys answering the phone. The village surroundings mean we get a bit of peace and quiet away from the main road traffic. We have a few local guys who’ve been with us since the start. They know the machines better than anyone. We don't spend money on marketing because the work usually speaks for itself. If you come by, you'll probably find us covered in oil or dust. It's just a regular small-scale engineering unit trying to do honest work. We don't have fancy brochures, just our hands and the equipment we've collected over the years.
