Kumar Metal Plastics

We are down here at No. 1181, right near the CTC bus depot and under the flyover on Avinashi Road. It is a bit of a loud spot because of all the traffic overhead and the buses coming and going constantly from the depot. Our place, Kumar Metal Plastics, is pretty easy to spot if you are looking for number 847 in that specific stretch of the road. We have been working with these materials for a long time now. The floor is usually covered in some kind of scrap or dust because that is just the nature of the job we do. We have a few guys who have been here since the start and they know the machines inside out. It gets really dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up under the bridge and blows right through the front. We don't really have a fancy showroom or a place for guests to sit. If you come by, you'll probably see us in our work clothes just getting on with things. It is honest work and we like being in this part of town even if it is a bit cramped and noisy sometimes. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the back door when it pours but we just put a bucket there and keep going. We know the neighbors well and we all kind of look out for each other on this road. It's not a corporate office, just a shop where stuff gets made.
