Assisi Garments Private Limited is based out here in Kulathupalayam. It's in the Palangarai area of Avinashi. If you know this part of the world, you know it’s a lot of local businesses and people just trying to make a living. We’ve got our setup here in Kulathupalayam and it’s where all the work happens. It’s not a flashy place. Just a regular building where we do what we need to do with garments. The road can be a bit dusty sometimes but that’s just how it is. We have a few people working here who live nearby. It makes sense to be close to where everyone is. We don't spend much time on things that don't matter, just the actual production. Avinashi is a place where people understand hard work. We fit right in with the other shops and small factories around here. Sometimes the weather gets hot and we just open the windows and keep going. There’s always piles of fabric somewhere. We try to keep things tidy but when you're busy, it gets a bit messy. That's life in a garment shop though. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. People in Palangarai know where we are if they need to stop by. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. No need for anything more than the basics to get the job finished. We just show up and start the machines every morning.
