Arun Knit Fashions

Arun Knit Fashions is based out of a building at 3/306A in Kuppandampalayam. It’s on the way to Veerapandi, right off Palladam Road. We have been here for a good stretch of time now. The workspace is filled with machines and the sound of them running all day. It’s a bit loud but nobody minds it much. Most of us have been working together for years so the routine is well-known. Palladam Road stays busy with trucks and travelers, and we see a lot of traffic passing by. Our spot in Kuppandampalayam is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number. Marketing departments aren't something we have. It’s mostly just us handling the knitting and finishing. The roof gets a bit hot in the summer, but we manage. All sorts of orders come through here. Every morning starts with a cup of tea before the machines start up. We aren't fancy people. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the fabric isn't exactly what we expected, but we sort it out. That's life in a garment place. Staying focused on what's in front of us is the main thing. If you're driving down Palladam Road near Veerapandi, you've probably passed us plenty of times. We just do our thing here every day. It's steady work and we like the quiet at the end of the day.
