We’re based out of Rama Moorthy Nagar. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We don’t spend much time worrying about the office decor or anything like that. Instead, we’re usually focused on the garments we’re working on. The space is filled with the sound of sewing machines and people talking about measurements. It’s a very local kind of place where everyone knows everyone else's name. We started out small and we’ve just stayed in the neighborhood because it works for us and the people who work here. The commute for the staff is easy, and we like being part of the community. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to get done by the evening. We have rows of tables where the cutting happens and racks for the finished items. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we have our own system that works for us. Sometimes we have to stay a bit late to finish a batch for a customer, but nobody really complains much. We just get on with it. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. We’re just a bunch of regular people making clothes in our part of town, nothing more and nothing less. It’s what we know how to do, so we stick to it and keep the machines running every day.
