Angal Creation

You can find Angal Creation down on 13 Nethaji Road, specifically on the 2nd Street in Karamanam Palayam. It’s a bit of a maze back there if you don’t know the way. We’ve been set up in this building for a while now. The space isn't huge but we make it work by stacking things high and keeping the aisles clear. Being on the second street means it's a little quieter than the main road, though the delivery bikes still make a lot of noise. We spend our days working on different creations, mostly fabric stuff that needs a lot of attention. There are always scraps of thread on the floor no matter how many times we sweep during the day. The lighting could be better in the back corner but we have enough lamps for that. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby neighborhoods so we all know each other’s families pretty well. When the monsoon hits, the street outside gets some deep puddles and we have to be careful about moving the stock in and out. It’s just a normal workshop where people are busy with scissors and needles from morning to night. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. Most people just come to the side door to drop off materials or pick up finished pieces. We keep a small radio playing in the background to help the long day go faster. It’s a practical setup and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the old building. We just focus on the tasks at hand and stay busy.
