Andavar Steels

We've been over here on Sanganoor Road for a while now. Most people know the spot near Ganapathy. It’s a busy area, but we’ve managed to keep things running at No.43-A without too much fuss. Working with steel is mostly what we do every day. It's heavy work and the yard gets a bit dusty sometimes, especially when the trucks are coming in and out. If you walk into Andavar Steels, you’ll probably see a few of us moving things around or checking the inventory lists. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we get the job done. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard for the bigger deliveries, but we make it work somehow. People around here usually just drop by when they need something specific for a project they’re working on. We try to keep a good variety of stock on the shelves so nobody leaves empty-handed. My hands are usually covered in some kind of metal dust by lunch, but that's just part of the life. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It's a straightforward place to get steel. No complicated processes, just honest work. We spend a lot of time organizing the racks because things can get messy fast if we aren't careful. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it keeps us busy and we like the folks who stop in to say hello.
