Al Raji Steel Craft

Al Raji Steel Craft is located at 68/1, Ennam Street in the Palakaarai area. We are quite close to Dg Naidu Street, which makes it easy for people to find our workshop. We spend our days working with different types of steel, mostly making things like window grills, safety gates, and small furniture frames. The shop is full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and the constant hum of the welding machines. It’s a very manual job, and we are usually covered in black soot and metal dust by the end of the day. The building is an old one with high ceilings, which helps a little bit with the heat from the torches. We don't have a showroom or any finished products on display. Everything we make is based on what the customer asks for when they walk in. Sometimes they bring a rough drawing on a piece of scrap paper, and we go from there. We have a few heavy workbenches that have been dented and scarred over years of use. It’s a lot of measuring, cutting, and grinding until the edges are smooth enough. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy sign outside. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby and saw us working on something else. It’s just a small team of us doing honest labor and trying to make things that will actually hold up over time.
