Akshara Knit Creations

Our workshop is located at No. 9 Lakshmi Nagar East Extension. It is right on the main road in Lakshmi Nagar, so it is not hard to find us. The building has been here for a long time. Inside Akshara Knit Creations, there is always the sound of knitting machines going. It is a rhythmic noise that you get used to after a few days. We have stacks of yarn in every corner. Some of it is bright and some is neutral. The tables are long and covered in pieces of fabric waiting to be stitched. The main road outside gets noisy with the traffic, especially in the evenings. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, even if the dust comes in. There is a small area where we pack everything into boxes. The tape gun makes a loud screeching sound that echoes. We have a couple of ceiling fans that wobble a little. It isn't the most modern setup, but it gets the job done. The staff brings their lunch and eats together in the small break area near the back. We use a lot of white light bulbs to see the stitches properly. It is a practical place for making clothes. We do not spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps of thread and small fabric cutouts that we sweep up at night.
