Ahill Apparel

You can find Ahill Apparel over at C No-24 in Anna Nagar, which is part of the K P N Colony in Rayapuram. It’s a busy little neighborhood, and we’re right in the thick of it. The building isn’t anything special to look at, but it does the job for what we need. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with scraps of fabric on the floor and half-finished garments hanging up. We try to stay organized, but when things get busy, the tables just get covered in stuff. Rayapuram can get really hot, so the afternoon slump is a real thing here, but we usually push through with some cold water or a quick snack from the shop down the road. The people who work here are mostly locals from around the colony. We’ve got a few old machines that make a specific clanking sound, but they still work better than the new ones sometimes. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that; people mostly just know us because we’ve been at this spot for a while. We spend our mornings checking the fabric for holes or stains and then the rest of the day is just cutting and sewing. It’s steady work, and we like the rhythm of it. Anna Nagar has its own vibe, and we’re just happy to be a small part of the daily life around K P N Colony.
