Addons Textile

Our unit is situated at No. 429/2 near the Mudalipalayam Pirivu on the Peruntholuvu Main Road. It’s out in the Vijaya Puram area, which is a bit of a drive from the main city center. We have a fair amount of space here, which is necessary because of the nature of textile work. The building is a basic structure with a tin roof, and it can get quite warm during the middle of the day. You’ll usually see piles of fabric stacked up in different sections of the floor. There is always a rhythm of machines or people working in the background. We don't have a fancy showroom or a reception area with air conditioning. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, probably busy checking the latest batch of material. The road outside can get dusty because of all the trucks passing by to other units in the area. We just stick to our schedule and try to get the orders finished without too many delays. It isn't glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. We have a small area where we keep the records and a kettle for making coffee. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so there’s a sense of everyone just getting on with their business. It’s a plain, hardworking environment. We don't spend much time worrying about the looks of the place as long as the work is moving along.
