Goswami Traders

Goswami Traders is located at Plot No 20 on the Main Road. It’s very easy to find because Vinayak Public School is right there. You can hear the school bell ringing all day and the kids shouting during their break times. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. The office is basically one big room with some partitions we put up ourselves. It’s not very stylish, just practical. We deal with various trading goods. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the news, and other days it’s non-stop phone calls. The Main Road is always congested with bikes and rickshaws. We have a small porch where we keep some of the larger items covered with tarps. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. Just a local family-run trading business. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Most of our customers are locals who have known us since we started. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign on the gate. It’s a steady kind of work and we like being part of the neighborhood near the school. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings.
