Aditya-Cement

Our office is based in Chittorgarh, out in Rajasthan. We are located in Meera Colony, specifically at F2 11/4. If you know the area, it’s a fairly quiet residential colony which makes for a decent place to work. Being in Chittorgarh, we are surrounded by a lot of history and, of course, a lot of industry. The cement business is a big part of life here. Our workspace is pretty basic. We have some desks, a couple of old cupboards for filing, and not much else. It gets quite hot in the summer, as you can imagine for this part of the country. We keep the coolers running as much as possible. The walls are a bit plain, but we have some maps and schedules pinned up to keep us on track. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We know the local contractors and the guys who drive the trucks. It’s a small community in Meera Colony, so we often see the same faces every day. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR team. We just focus on the cement and making sure everything gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the office, so we are always cleaning the desks. It’s just part of the job when you work in this sector in 312622. We’re just a local team doing our thing. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but we get things done.
