Aditya Cement

Our base is in Chittorgarh, specifically in the 323304 area. This is where we handle the Aditya Cement business for this specific patch of Rajasthan. The landscape here is very industrial, with hills and mining areas all around us. The office itself is a plain brick building that has been standing for quite a while. We don't have air conditioning in every room, so we rely on big windows and the breeze, though the breeze often brings in a lot of dust. We spend our days managing the local distribution and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a lot of manual entries and keeping track of the local transport schedules. The staff consists of people who grew up in these parts and understand the terrain. We have a small area where we sit and have our chai during the breaks, usually talking about the weather or the local crops. There is nothing corporate about the way we run things here. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the trucks get delayed because of the roads, and those are the days when things get a bit stressful. But overall, it is a steady pace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to make sure the cement gets where it needs to go on time. Every Friday, we spend a little extra time cleaning up the limestone dust that settles on everything.
