Charbhuja Building Material

Charbhuja Building Material is right at the Dhattarwal Chohara, not too far from Jhalar Baori. We are quite close to Rawatbhata, so we get a lot of people coming through this crossroads. The shop is mostly an open yard where we keep the gravel, sand, and bricks. It is a very dry area, so the wind blows the dust everywhere, and everything we own is basically the color of the ground. We have been here for some time now, and we know most of the contractors and builders in the area by their first names. There are no sales pitches or polished speeches when you come here. You just tell us what you need for your project, and we figure out how to get it to your site. It is a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. The trucks are usually lined up in the morning, and the loaders spend their time filling them up under the hot sun. We don't have a big corporate structure. It is just the owner and a few workers making sure the inventory is correct and the deliveries go out. Sometimes we sit under the shade of the small porch and wait for the next customer. It is a slow-paced life in some ways, but the work itself is quite heavy and keeps us tired. That is just how life is out here near the Baori.
