Aditya Cement Works

We’re down on Adhitya Puram Road in Shambhupura. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have much in the way of decoration or anything like that. The yard is full of cement and that’s about it. People come by when they’re starting a new project or fixing up an old one. We mostly just deal with the locals and some contractors who know the area well. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting bags and loading them up. Some mornings are quiet, just the sound of the birds, then a truck rolls in and everything gets moving. Shambhupura is a decent place to work, even if it gets a bit hot in the afternoons. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. The road outside can get a bit bumpy with all the heavy loads, but that’s expected. We don’t really do much marketing or stuff like that. Most folks find us just because we’ve been here on Adhitya Puram Road for a bit. We keep the shed locked tight at night to keep the moisture out. That’s the most important thing with cement. If it gets damp, it’s no good to anyone. So we keep an eye on the roof. It’s just us, the bags, and the road. Simple as that. We just do our part in the building process.
