Zion Matriculation. Hr. Sec. School

You can find us over in Indira Nagar, which is part of Selaiyur. Zion Matriculation has been around this neighborhood for quite a bit. The school building is tucked into the residential streets, so it feels a bit more quiet than being on a main highway. We have kids of all ages here, from the little ones starting out to the teenagers in higher secondary. It gets pretty loud during recess, which is to be expected. We have some trees in the yard that give a bit of shade when it's hot out. The classrooms are basic, nothing too over the top, just what you need for teaching. We focus on the schedule and making sure everyone is where they should be. Sometimes the bells ring a minute late or a minute early, but we manage. The staff room is always full of papers and tea cups. It’s a real working school. We don't spend much time worrying about looking perfect; we just want the kids to get through their lessons. Most of the families around here know us by name. It’s a community thing. On rainy days, the ground gets a little muddy near the entrance, but we put some sand down. It’s just how things go. We’re just a regular school trying to do our best for the students in Selaiyur. Things are usually moving fast but we keep a handle on it.
