Utilitys Engineering Technology Outsourcing

Down on Thirumal Street in Chennai, things stay pretty busy. Our office at 5/181 is right in the middle of it all. Utilitys Engineering Technology Outsourcing is a long name for what we do, which is basically helping other companies with their technical drawings and engineering tasks. We aren't in one of those shiny IT parks on the outskirts. We are right here in the neighborhood where we can hear the street noise and the tea stalls nearby. The fans are usually spinning fast because of the Chennai heat. We have a few computers set up and some old drafting tables that we still use sometimes. Most of us have been working together for years. We don't have a big HR department or corporate retreats. We just sit down, look at the blueprints or the digital files, and figure out the math. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is close, and we order some food from the place around the corner. It is a simple life of numbers and lines. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people find us because someone told them we do decent work. We try to be helpful and get the details right. It is just a normal day at the office on Thirumal Street, making sure the engineering work gets sent out on time to whoever needs it.
