E S Engineers

We’ve been here at No 5 on Rizwan Road for a while now. Kodungaiyur is a busy spot, especially around R. V. Nagar where the post office is. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because the shop gets quite warm once the machines start running. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks, nothing too fancy, just solid work that needs doing. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with trucks or delivery vans, and it makes moving things in and out a bit of a challenge. You get used to the noise of the traffic and the specific hum of the equipment after a few weeks. People around here know where we are. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name E S Engineers on the front. It’s a practical space. We keep our tools organized as much as possible, though by Friday, things usually look a bit lived-in. It isn't like those corporate offices you see in the city center. We deal with grease and metal and the daily grind of making sure everything is measured right. Sometimes we sit outside for a quick tea when there’s a lull. The neighborhood is mostly small shops and workshops like ours. It’s been our home base for a long time, and we know the rhythms of the street pretty well. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay on top of the orders that come through the door.
