G.K.Engineering

G.K. Engineering is situated at Door No. 2/950 on Periyar Nagar Main Road in Madipakkam. Chennai is known for its heat and this part of Madipakkam is no exception. We spend a lot of time in the workshop dealing with various engineering tasks and repairs. The main road is always busy with traffic and people going about their business in Chennai. Our shop is a functional space filled with tools and metal parts. It isn't the cleanest place because of the nature of the work but it is where everything happens. We have been at this location for a while and the locals know where to find us. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It is just straightforward engineering and mechanical work. Sometimes we are working late into the evening when there is a lot to get through. The sounds of grinding and welding are common here. We have a small team and we just talk about what needs to be fixed or built next. Periyar Nagar is a good community and we feel like a part of it. We don't have a big website or a sales team. People just come to Door No. 2/950 when they have something that needs looking at. It is a basic setup but it works for us and we keep things moving as best as we can every day. Most of us have lived in Chennai our whole lives so we are used to the pace.
