The Indian Public School

We are located at No. 50/51 on the First Main Road within the Perungudi Industrial Estate. It is a bit of a different setting for a school, being right there among the factories and the office buildings. You can hear the sounds of the industrial estate all day long, from the trucks moving to the general hum of the nearby businesses. It is a very urban and busy environment. The school itself is a simple structure that fits into the street. We have been here for a good amount of time and most of the workers in the area know where we are. We don't really use any kind of marketing speak to describe what we do. It is just a place where we hold classes. The classrooms are plain and functional. Because we are in an industrial zone, we have to keep the gates managed carefully. The staff usually grabs their lunch from the local stalls just like everyone else working in Perungudi. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of place. The mornings are always a bit of a scramble with the traffic on First Main Road, but we are used to it by now. It’s not a fancy campus with big gardens, but it does what it needs to do for the community. We just focus on the basic tasks of the school day and making sure everything stays on schedule until the final bell rings in the afternoon.
