St Michaels Academy

Finding St Michaels Academy can be a little tricky if you’re not familiar with Adyar. We’re at No 2 on 3rd Canal Cross Street, which is actually around the backside of Vidya Mandhir School. You have to head down toward the 4th Main Road in Gandhi Nagar to get to us. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, which we actually quite like because it stays a little quieter than the main roads. We’ve been here for a good long while now, and we’re very much a part of the Gandhi Nagar neighborhood. The academy isn’t a massive complex; it’s more of a cozy place where everyone tends to know everyone else. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that writing our stuff. We’re just the people who show up every day to make sure the school is running right. The walk down 3rd Canal Cross Street is familiar to all of our students and their parents. It’s a local place through and through. We deal with the usual school stuff—fixing broken chairs, ordering supplies, and making sure the registers are up to date. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real work that needs doing. Most folks who come here do so because they live nearby and appreciate having a school that doesn’t feel like a big corporation. We’re just a small part of the Adyar community, doing our bit every day on the backside of Vidya Mandhir and keeping things running for the kids.
