St Johns Senior Sec School & Junr Collge

We are at No 9 on South Canal Bank Road in Mandaveli. This is the spot where we’ve been running the senior secondary and junior college for quite a while. Being in R A Puram, we are surrounded by houses and other local businesses. It’s a lively neighborhood. The building isn't a modern glass structure; it's a solid, older place that has been adapted over the years to fit more classrooms. The halls can get a bit cramped when the bell rings, but the students don't seem to mind much. We have students coming from all over this part of Chennai. Some of them have been with us since they were very young and just stayed on for the higher classes. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just teach the subjects and prepare the students for their exams. The staff here is quite experienced and they stay for a long time. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't have a lot of polished brochures. Most of the parents come in to talk to us directly if they have questions. The traffic on South Canal Bank Road can be a bit of a headache during drop-off times, but that’s just part of being in this area. We just try to provide a steady environment where the students can get their work done. We don't have a big gate or a security guard in a fancy uniform. It’s just a regular door that stays open during the day.
