The school is for girls and covers the higher secondary years. It’s a bit of a long name, but most people just know us by our location on Ramakrishna Math Road. The building has been there for quite a while. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. The families in Mylapore just know where we are and what we do. It’s a school that sticks to the basics of teaching and learning. The morning starts with the girls coming in, and then it’s just classes until the afternoon. Being at number 31 means we are close to everything in Mylapore, including the temple and the shops. It can get pretty crowded on the road outside during festival times, but we just keep going with our lessons. The teachers here are used to the rhythm of the school year. We have the usual desks, boards, and books you’d expect. It’s a plain, honest kind of place. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We are just a local girls' school doing our best to get the students through their exams.
