Being near the mill makes it easy for people to find us. We deal with all sorts of fish and seafood every day. It is cold work because of the freezers, so we are usually wearing heavy jackets even when it is hot outside. We get our stock in early in the morning and spend the rest of the day sorting it out. Some of it stays fresh on ice and some goes into the big freezers. The floor is usually wet from the ice melting, so we have to wear rubber boots.
