Balaji Seafoods Exports India Ltd.

We are located at 182/4, Hig Flats, right on the Industrial Estate Road in Anna Nagar West Extension. It’s a bit of a weird spot for an export business, being in the flats and all, but it works for us. Balaji Seafoods Exports India Ltd. is where we handle the logistics of moving seafood all over. The office is usually a bit chaotic with people coming in and out. We have to keep a close eye on the temperatures and the timing of the trucks coming from the docks. If a truck is late, everything else gets pushed back and everyone gets grumpy. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the people at the cold storage are ready. We deal with a lot of different suppliers, so the phone is always ringing. Sometimes the lines are bad or someone doesn't understand the order, and we have to explain it three times. We don’t have fancy furniture or a coffee machine that works half the time. Most of the day is spent checking manifests and talking to drivers. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always dust and the sound of engines. We just keep at it, making sure the crates are moved and the paperwork is signed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just try to keep everything moving.
