Coast Line Fisheries

We are located over at 18/1 on Vaidhyanathan Mudali Street. If you know this part of the city, you know it gets pretty crowded during the day. Coast Line Fisheries isn't a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space where we handle the daily fish business. The street outside is narrow and sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time backing in. We start our day when it’s still dark out. That’s when the work really happens. There’s a lot of ice and crates moving around. It gets wet and messy on the floor, but that’s part of the job. We have a few old chairs in the corner where we sit for tea when there’s a break. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has time for that. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals recognize the smell of the sea coming from our doors. We don’t do any fancy advertising. Most people find us just by walking down the street or hearing about us from someone else. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and sorting. By the afternoon, things quiet down a bit and we start cleaning up. The fan in the back makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we’re used to it. It’s just a regular place doing regular work on Vaidhyanathan Mudali Street.
