Smt Durgadevi Choudhari Vivekananda Vidyalaya

We are situated in Shakthivel Nagar, which is inside the SRP Colony in Jawahar Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet residential area, which is nice for a school. The building is a simple, functional structure with several classrooms surrounding a central area. Every morning, the kids arrive from the nearby houses, and you can hear the chatter starting up. We don't have a huge amount of land, so we make the most of the space we have. The rooms are basic, with simple furniture and charts on the walls made by the students. We focus mostly on the day-to-day teaching. The teachers are people from the community who have been working here for quite a while. We don't have air conditioning or fancy labs, just the standard equipment needed for a school. The staff room is a busy spot where we keep the registers and have our lunch together. It’s a very local atmosphere, where everyone knows each other. Parents often stop by the gate for a quick word with the teachers. We don't have any big marketing or promotional stuff going on at Smt Durgadevi Choudhari Vivekananda Vidyalaya. We just open up every morning and get to work with the students. It’s a plain, honest school for the families living around SRP Colony. We just try to keep things running smoothly and help the kids get through their studies.
