We are located at 29, C.P. Ramaswamy Road in Alwarpet. It is a very well-known part of Chennai, and the road is usually packed with traffic at almost any hour of the day. Our building is right there among the cafes and other shops. Shruthi Exports Of India has been operating from this address for quite some time now. Inside, it’s a mix of an office and a storage area. We have stacks of boxes and samples of what we send out to different places. The hum of the air conditioner is a constant sound because of the Chennai heat. We don’t have a lot of fancy trimmings in our office. It’s mostly just functional furniture and a lot of paper. Most of our work involves being on the computer or the phone, making sure things are moving where they are supposed to go. The neighborhood is great because you can get a good coffee or some tiffin just a few steps away. We have a small team here and we’ve worked together for years, so we have a good rhythm. It’s a busy life, especially when there are deadlines to meet, but being in Alwarpet makes it a bit more pleasant. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a real, honest workplace where we don't worry about being too polished, as long as the job is finished correctly.
