Sharanalaya Montessori School

Sharanalaya Montessori School sits inside Sai Baba Gardens in Akkarai. We are located right along the Ecr Road in Sholinganallur. It’s a nice enough spot, a bit away from the main city rush but still easy to get to. We follow the Montessori way of doing things, which is what we’ve always done here. The school isn't trying to be anything it’s not. It’s just a place for children to spend their day learning. You can find us by looking for Sai Baba Gardens if you are driving down the Ecr Road. We have been here in Sholinganallur for some time, and the locals know the address well. The classrooms are set up for the kids to move around and work on their own stuff. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what happens here. It’s just about the kids and their daily activities. Some people like the quiet feel of Akkarai compared to the busier parts of Chennai. We see a lot of the same faces every morning at the gate. It’s a bit of a routine, really. We open up, the children arrive, and they get to work with the materials. It’s a simple process that seems to work for the families around here. No one is putting on a show; we are just a school at Sai Baba Gardens.
