You will find us at 49, 1, on Anderson Street in the Parrys area of George Town. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and busy it gets. It’s one of the oldest parts of town, and the streets are very narrow and full of people. Our office is right in the middle of all that hustle. We deal with shipping and trade stuff, which makes sense given we are so close to the port. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s where we’ve been for a long time. There is always a lot of shouting and the sound of horns coming from George Town outside. We spend most of our time on the phone or going through stacks of shipping documents and customs papers. It’s not a glamorous job. The air is salty from the sea and thick with the smell of the market nearby. We don't have a big fancy lobby or air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there is always another call to take or a manifest to check. People come in and out all day long, mostly messengers or other traders from Anderson Street. It’s a fast-paced environment, but that’s just how business is done in this part of George Town. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
