Sarash Worldwide Exports Pvt. Ltd. is based in an apartment building called R.M.S. Apartments in T. Nagar. We are in Flat No. 8 on the first floor. T. Nagar is a place that never really sleeps, but Gopalakrishnan Street is a bit tucked away from the heaviest crowds of the main shopping areas. The building itself is a standard residential style block that has some offices in it too. Since we are on the first floor, it is just a short walk up the stairs. The office inside looks like what you would expect from an apartment turned into a workspace. We have different rooms for different tasks and a small area where we keep the records. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork or samples lying around. Usually, you can hear the sounds of the street outside, horns honking and people talking, but inside we just focus on the computer screens and the phone calls. We do not have a fancy glass front or anything. Just a solid door with our name on a small plate. Most of our day is spent coordinating things and making sure the export details are handled. It is a busy environment but we are used to the pace of T. Nagar by now. We usually close up in the early evening and join the rush of people heading home from this part of town after a long day of work.
