S. S. Exporters

S. S. Exporters is located over at 14-D, Chithirai St. in Chinmaya Nagar. If you know Virugambakkam, you know it can be a bit of a maze back here, but we like this spot. We spend our days mostly coordinating shipments and checking on suppliers. It's a small operation, nothing too corporate. We have a couple of desks and a lot of logbooks. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep things quiet when trucks aren't coming by. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit difficult, but we still get the work finished. We've been at this address for some time now and most people who deal with us just drop by the office when they need something. It’s not the kind of place with a big sign or shiny windows. It is just a workspace where we handle the daily grind of exporting. We deal with a lot of different items depending on what is in demand. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, other days we are running around until late. We just do what needs to be done to keep the business moving. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep our orders moving out the door on time without any extra fuss. It is a local way of doing things.
