Rkl Galaxy International School Foundation

We are located in Ashok Nagar at Old No 10, New No 18, on Dr Natesan Salai. If you know Chennai, you know Ashok Nagar is a pretty established place with lots of trees and houses. Rkl Galaxy International School Foundation is based here. It’s not a giant campus like some of those schools out on the bypass, but it has a more personal feel. We have been working out of this building for a while now. The hallways are often filled with the sound of people talking or moving furniture around. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze there is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with parents who want to know about the curriculum. It’s a lot of administrative work that people don't always see. The building itself is an older style, which gives it some character. We have a small staff room where we sit and have our tiffin. Sometimes the traffic on Dr Natesan Salai makes it hard to park, but we make do. We aren't trying to be the biggest school foundation out there. We just focus on what’s happening in our own classrooms. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to be part of the community here. Every day brings something a little bit different, whether it's paperwork or planning for the next term.
