I Craft India

We’ve been here at I Craft India for a while now, tucked away in Vgp Layout over in Palavakkam. It’s a quiet enough spot on Q.M. Street, mostly residential around us, but we keep busy with the work. People often ask how we ended up in this part of Chennai, but it just felt right at the time. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it's just a regular place where we get things done every day. Sometimes the neighbors pop by just to see what’s going on, or because they’re curious about the name. We deal with various crafts and items, mostly stuff you’d find around the house or gifts people might want. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we organize the inventory. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just have our desks, some storage shelves, and a lot of boxes coming and going. Most of the time, it's just a few of us here making sure orders get packed right and the accounts stay mostly in order. If you’re ever walking down 1/189, you’ll probably see our door open to catch a breeze. We don't spend much time on big speeches or fancy meetings. We just show up in the morning, drink some tea, and start working on whatever came in the mail or over the phone. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us here in Palavakkam.
