New Jothis

If you know Parrys, you know how crowded N. S. C. Bose Road can get on any given afternoon. That is where we are, at number 9190, right in the thick of things. New Jothis has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. It is a small shop, and we have squeezed in as much stock as we possibly can onto the shelves and under the counters. We mostly deal with textiles and some ready-made items. The space is tight, so if more than three people come in at once, it starts to feel very full. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. Most of what we have is just folded up or hanging where there is room. The noise from the street is constant, with the horns honking and people shouting, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. We usually have the radio playing some local songs to keep things a bit more relaxed inside. My brother and I run the place, and we take turns going out for lunch or grabbing tea from the stall around the corner. It is a simple way of living. We know the other shopkeepers nearby, and we always say hello when we open up in the morning. We just try to keep enough variety in the shop so that people can find what they are looking for without too much trouble. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is just how we work in such a busy part of the city.
