Guna Bag Works

We are over here at No. 1 Mannarsamy Koil Street in Anakaputhur. It is a small place where we deal with all kinds of bags every day. Most mornings start with moving things around to make space for the sewing machines. The street outside gets pretty busy with people heading to work, but we are usually inside just getting on with things. We have stacks of material tucked into the corners and thread rolls all over the shelves. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out or work by the door where there is some light. It is not a fancy setup at all. We just fix zippers, mend torn straps, and put together bags when orders come in. People from around the neighborhood know where we are because of the old sign out front. The floor is usually covered in little scraps of fabric that we sweep up at the end of the day. It gets hot in the afternoons so we keep the fan running at full speed. We do not have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy-duty needles. If you walk down the street you can probably hear the machines clicking away. We have been in this same spot for a while now and we know the neighbors well. It is just basic work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't mind the noise.
