Gs Bags is right on Arcot Road, at number 33 in the Kodambakkam area of Chennai. If you know the 600024 zip code, you know it is a place that is always moving. The traffic on Arcot Road is something else, and we hear the horns honking all day long. Our shop is a bit dusty because of all the fabric we handle. We have bags stacked up in every corner, sometimes reaching the ceiling. It is a bit of a maze getting from the front door to the back. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff we need to get the bags finished. There is usually a radio playing somewhere in the back to keep things from being too quiet. Most of the folks working here have been with us for years. We are not a big factory or anything, just a local business trying to make a living. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually do it. We are more focused on getting the orders out to the people who need them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just life in Chennai. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just stay here at No.33 and do our thing. If you need us, you just come by the shop. We are usually here from early morning until late.
