Muskaan International

Our place, Muskaan International, is over at 29-1/42 on Nammalwar Street in Choolai. It is a pretty typical spot for this neighborhood, which means it is usually crowded and a bit noisy from the street traffic. We have a small office that is basically just a few chairs, a computer that takes forever to start up, and a lot of cardboard boxes waiting to be taped shut. Working in Choolai means you get used to the heat and the sound of the market nearby. We spend a lot of our time coordinating where things need to go and making sure the paperwork matches the boxes. It is not a very glamorous job, and there is always a lot of dust that seems to settle on everything no matter how much we clean. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background just to keep things from being too quiet while we work. The neighbors are alright, mostly other small businesses doing the same thing we are. We eat our lunch at the main desk most days because there is always a delivery or a phone call that needs someone to stay put. We have been at this Nammalwar Street location for a while, and we know exactly which floorboards creak when you walk over them. It is just a regular place where we show up every morning, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
