You can find Mowbrays Matriculation School Velachery over at No 8 in Tansi Nagar. We are part of the Lic Colony area in Velacheri. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time. We have been running this school for the local kids for quite a few years. It’s a simple matriculation school, nothing over the top. We have the standard classrooms and a small area for the kids to hang out during lunch. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us a long time. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just teach the syllabus and make sure the kids behave themselves. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy in the summer, but we get by. Velacheri has changed a lot, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. It’s a familiar place for many families around here. We see former students walking by as adults now, which is always a bit strange but nice. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help the kids learn a thing or two before they head home. It’s a predictable routine every day, from the first bell to the last, and that suits us just fine. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the school running well for the next generation of kids in Tansi Nagar.
