Marlin Sea Food

Marlin Sea Food is based at 14, Kadappa Road, in the Lakshmipuram area of Kolathur. Our days start much earlier than most people’s. Usually, we’re up and at the shop while it’s still dark outside to get the fresh catch ready. Dealing with seafood means you have to be fast and you have to be okay with getting your hands wet. The shop on Kadappa Road isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need. It’s often busy with people coming in from Lakshmipuram to see what we have for the day. Kolathur is a lively neighborhood, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm here. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a team of salespeople. It’s just us, the fish, and the customers. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather is bad and the supply is low. We don’t try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s a lot of cleaning, icing down crates, and talking to regular folks. We’ve been at number 14 for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the smell of the sea and the cold of the ice. We don’t use any corporate jargon or marketing tricks. We just show up, set out the seafood, and help the people who come through the door. It’s a basic way to live, but it’s what we know and what we do every single day.
