Mangadu Public Secondary School

Out in Thangam Avenue, Chikkarayapuram, near Mangadu and Kovur Post, you will find our school. It is quite a long address, but people around here know the way. Mangadu Public Secondary School serves a lot of the local families who live in these suburbs. It’s a busy area with a lot of small shops and houses nearby. Our school building is a solid structure that has been through many monsoons. Inside, it is always a bit of a scramble to get everyone into their seats when the morning bell rings. We have a lot of different grades all under one roof, so it can get pretty loud during the lunch break. The playground isn't huge, but the kids make it work. Our staff doesn't wear uniforms, and we don't have a fancy reception area. It is more about the people here than the furniture. We spend our days grading papers and trying to keep the kids focused on their lessons. It’s not always easy, but it is what we do. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind blows, and the traffic near the Kovur Post can be a headache, but we are used to it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished image. We are just a local school trying to help the neighborhood kids get through their classes and move on to the next grade each year.
