Maharishi Vidya Mandir School

You can find Maharishi Vidya Mandir School out on Medavakkam Mambakkam Road. We are part of the Dabc'S Arboretum area in Ponmar. It's a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it's quieter out here. The school grounds have some trees and space for the kids to run around during their breaks. We have been here in Chennai for some time, watching the area grow up around us. The classrooms are basic, filled with wooden desks and blackboards that get dusty by the end of the day. Teachers here live nearby or commute in from the suburbs. Morning assembly happens in the open area where everyone gathers before the heat gets too bad. We have a gate that stays closed during school hours for safety. Parents usually drop their kids off early in the morning, and the road gets a bit crowded then. It’s just a normal school day here with bells ringing and kids shouting at lunch. We don't spend much time on decorations; we just make sure there are enough books and the roofs don't leak when it rains. The staff room is always full of papers and half-finished cups of coffee. We just do our jobs and try to make sure the children learn their lessons. If you're coming from the city, just keep following the road toward Ponmar and you'll see our entrance.
