K.V is located at Devi N Ilayam on Gandhi Road. We are directly opposite the Gurudwara in Mitnmalli, near the A.F.S Avadi. It’s a very recognizable spot because of the Gurudwara. You can hear the prayers and the music drifting across the road at different times of the day, which is actually quite nice while we’re working. Gandhi Road is always moving with people going towards the Air Force Station or coming back into the main part of town. Our building, Devi N Ilayam, is a simple structure. We don't have any flashy signs or bright lights. Inside, it's just a regular workspace with desks and a few cabinets that don't quite close properly. We’ve been here in Mitnmalli for a while, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The heat can be a bit much in the summer, and we usually have two or three fans going at once just to stay cool. There’s a small porch out front where we sometimes stand to get some air. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s a place where we come every morning to get our tasks done. The traffic on Gandhi Road can get loud during the evening rush, but that’s part of the charm of being in this part of Avadi. We just keep things simple and keep going.
