Kiwi Craft

Kiwi Craft is tucked away at No. 10 on 1St Street in Bharathi Avenue, Kottur. It’s a quiet little spot compared to the noisy main roads nearby. We mostly focus on making things by hand here. Our workspace is usually filled with tools, scraps, and half-finished projects. It’s definitely not a corporate office. There’s usually some music playing and a lot of coffee being drunk while we work on things. We started this because we liked making things, and it just grew from there into a small business. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who are good with their hands and enjoy the work. Most of our days are spent cutting, shaping, and putting pieces together. We don't use a lot of big machinery; it's mostly manual work with simple tools. Sometimes we get behind on our schedule because we take a bit too long on the small details, but that’s just how we are. We like the neighborhood in Kottur because it feels a bit more relaxed than other areas. People often stop by just to see what we are working on at the moment. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales pitch for people. We just make what we make and hope they like the results. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the process of creating something from scratch. It’s a bit messy at times, but it works.
