Kaapi Zone

Kaapi Zone is located at 210, M R C Nagar, over in Raja Annamalai Puram. It is a coastal part of the city, so we get that nice breeze coming off the water sometimes, though the humidity can be a bit much in the afternoons. Our shop is not very big. It is a straightforward place where we focus on getting the coffee ready for the morning crowd. Most people around here are in a hurry to get to their offices, so we have to move fast. We have been at this address for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There are more buildings now, but the vibe is still mostly the same. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big handbook on how to behave. We just act like ourselves. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to scramble, or the grinder needs a bit of fixing. That is just how a small business works. We keep the place clean and the lights on. It is not about being the most popular spot in RA Puram, just about being reliable. We know which customers like their drink extra hot and who wants a bit more sugar. It is the little things that keep us going every day. We don’t have much room for fancy seating, so most people grab their drink and head out. That’s just the way things go here near the water.
