Gr8 Coffee Shop

The shop is over at 1524, T.S.K. Nagar in Anna Nagar West Extension. It is a nice little spot on a corner that gets a good amount of shade in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure the beans are fresh. We don't try to be one of those overly fancy cafes with names for drinks you can't pronounce. We just make coffee. Most of our customers are people who live right around here and stop in on their way to work or while they are out for a walk. The morning is usually our busiest time, so it can get a bit loud with the grinder going and people chatting. We have a few tables, but they are usually full of people reading the paper or looking at their phones. It is a small team running the place, so we end up doing everything from making the drinks to mopping the floor at night. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to serve a decent cup of coffee so people keep coming back. Sometimes the milk delivery is late or the machine acts up, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. It is a lot of work being on your feet all day, but we enjoy the neighborhood vibe.
