We are located at 11/20 Kalyani Ammal Street in Varadharajapuram, which is part of the Ambattur area. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. We’ve been running this paint business for a while now. The shop is full of cans, brushes, and color cards. It’s not a high-end boutique; it’s a place where painters and homeowners come to get what they need for their projects. We spend a lot of time chatting with the regulars who live nearby. Sometimes we help them figure out how much paint they actually need so they don't overspend. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the shop stays stocked and the mixing machine is working right. The floor usually has some scuffs and the shelves are a bit worn out, but that’s because we actually use them every day. Ambattur is a mix of houses and small factories, so we get all kinds of requests. Some days it’s just a single can of white paint, and other days it’s a whole list of industrial supplies. We take it as it comes. It’s just a small team of us here. We don't do anything fancy. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer to arrive. It’s simple work and we like it that way.
